This is hard.

I don't know if anyone ever will find their way here. I don't know if I want anyone ever to. When people ask me what I do, I blush and mumble out that I am a 'writer'. No one really understands what 'copy writing' means. Writer is easy, I write. When people hear it, some give me an impressed nod, some a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. What copy writing  really means is that, I write brochures, jingles, posters and radio scripts on a daily basis. The stuff that you spend daily, trying to avoid. On a good day, I attempt a television advert script, on a better day you don't mute the TV when my advert comes on.

One fine day as the 12th round of changes came up on a brochure I was writing, I decided to really attempt writing. Attempt to do what really made me want to take up writing in the first place. So this is where I put up those pieces. I make people give me a singular word, colleagues, friends and even my mum and write something, anything on it. Most stories have origin in something I've picked up around me and like every other copywriter, I fabricate the rest of it.  This is hard because I don't really share my creative writing with anyone.  Mostly because I'm insecure, this blog mostly exists to act as motivation to write more. My stories might seem rather rambly because I am a bad editor. Apologies for the same. So here's my 'writing'. Trust me when I say, you'd prefer them over my brochures.
